Invisalign braces are clear braces without the wires and brackets. Instead of wires and brackets they use a series of clear, custom fitted, removable appliances called aligners. The first step in getting Invisalign braces involves a visit to our
Garden City Invisalign dentist, where you will receive an evaluation and consultation from The Gentle Dentist’s, Dr. Sood. Dr. Sood will discuss whether or not you are a good candidate who would benefit from Invisalign. From there, the patient is fitted with the appropriate appliances, which they will wear for about two weeks, only taking them out to eat, brush and floss. A new aligner will be fitted to the patient during each stage of treatment.
